Pratibha Poshak – ASCEND 2026

The Rajalakshmi Children Foundation (RCF) began the Pratibha Poshak – ASCEND Selection Test 2026 on 14 April 2026 to identify deserving students and support them in their journey towards higher education. The selection examination was conducted across 5 Education Districts — Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bengaluru U South, Dharwad, and Uttara Kannada, with 812 students appearing for the examination. Following the selection process, a total of 270 deserving students were selected for the ASCEND Programme 2026, marking an important first step in their journey from school to college. The initiative has been made possible through the generous support of Perfios Software Solutions Ltd. and Samarpaka Seva Trust, who are supporting these students as they begin their higher education journey. As part of the programme, each selected student receives a Tablet with parental controls, a technical subject dictionary, and a college bag, along with academic support, mentoring, technology, and guidance to help them pursue PUC Science and work towards their future academic and career goals. ASCEND is a bridge from school to college, giving talented students the resources, support, and confidence to take their next step towards a brighter future.
